KK iManage and Cloud Migration Workshop
Kraft Kennedy will conduct an iManage Design and Planning Workshop to review current environment and future plans for iManage and Cloud Migration.

Kraft Kennedy will first perform an analysis of a non-production copy of each of the Client’s iManage libraries. This review will cover items such as metadata analysis and usage, analysis of empty workspace folders, and various other health-checks to prepare for a successful migration to iManage Cloud. Following the analysis, Kraft Kennedy will conduct a review with the Client to discuss any issues uncovered, recommended remediation steps, and other potential action items.
During the workshop portion, we will identify existing technical challenges, business needs, and desired outcomes. We will also discuss available features and configurations and determine the scope and framework for the planned environment. This workshop will consist of a series of sessions lasting up to 2 days in total. The workshop will be conducted by Kraft Kennedy consultants and will be delivered remotely with appropriate Client stakeholders.
Basic Agenda:
Workshop Kickoff – Discuss the Client’s overall goals for this effort, desired timeline for any future implementation, and business/functional requirements.
Benefits of iManage Cloud – Review the feature and functionality recommendations the Client should adopt when migrating from iManage on-premises to iManage Cloud.
Common Blockers for iManage Cloud – Review the technical and business operations risks commonly associated with a migration to iManage Cloud as well as the blockers which typically need to be addressed for a successful migration (e.g. third-party application integration, client-side requirements, operational process requirements,).
Global Enterprise Design Considerations – Designing a global, enterprise-level iManage Cloud environment.
iManage Feature Evolution – Review the capabilities, limitations, licensing, and requirements of certain iManage modules, and how they differ from the Client’s current on-premises implementation, including examples: Mobility, Share, Threat Manager, and Single Sign-On/Federated Authentication.
Third-Party Tools and Integration Evolution – Review the capabilities, limitations, licensing, and requirements of certain third-party solutions, and planning for integration changes that may be necessary with iManage Cloud.
Work Desktop Client Strategy – Discussion on features and limitations of the iManage Work desktop client.
iManage Cloud Migration Strategy – Discussion on the migration process, tools and strategies for document import, flatspace filing considerations, and metadata mapping.
Matter-Centricity Management – Discussion on matter-centricity in iManage, covering creation and management of workspaces, analytics and helpdesk functionality.
Change Management and User Adoption Strategy – Discuss the approach to Change Management, what user workflows will need to be adjusted when cutover occurs, and how those workflow or interface changes should be communicated and implemented during the project.
Project Roles and Responsibilities – Discuss the required roles and resources for the full implementation across all teams, along with any resource timelines and constraints.
