The Azure Virtual Desktop, formally Windows Virtual Desktop, 3-day workshop is designed to get an organization hands-on with AVD in Azure using the Windows multi-session OS.
Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) provides the ability to scale remote desktop access virtually limitlessly, on demand, without the capital expense required with traditional VDI implementations. Providing a secure, scalable, globally accessible remote desktop environment. The Azure Virtual Desktop, formally Windows Virtual Desktop, 3 day workshop is designed to get an organization hands-on with AVD in Azure using the Windows multi-session OS. The engagement starts by providing an workshop to understand the AVD solution and security in place with AVD. Followed by an assessment of AVD readiness and documents any needed prerequisites. A custom, Windows 10 multi-user image with up to three standard applications is used to deploy the AVD environment.
Workshop Goals and Activities:
Day 1: Pre-Engagement Call Customer Questionnaire Introduction to Azure Virtual Desktop Solution. Discussion on prerequisites. Selection of Application to be tested. Agree goals for a successful AVD Workshop.
Day 2: Create required Azure resource for Azure virtual desktop. Showcase the implemented Azure virtual desktop solution. Give test account to experience and get hands on AVD.
Day3: Discuss the outcome of the workshop. Prepare a plan to implement AVD.
