In this workshop, we are focusing on the achievement of interoperability with the FHIR standard on Azure.  We can help you discover the changes or implementations that are necessary for your organization's infrastructure to achieve full interoperability and control over this service in the cloud environment. 

You will gain insights into the creation and functioning of the new Azure API for FHIR resources and how this solution will give you time efficiency and cost reduction. 

Workshop agenda:

Day one:

• Possibilities of interoperability with Azure API for FHI, machine learning, and self data compliance.
• How the organization achieves global scalability and high availability and what needs to be done in order to save resources 
• Three available configurations of FHIR on Microsoft Azure: 
1. General availability PaaS exclusively for FHIR 
2. PaaS Azure Healthcare APIs (enables the inclusion of additional databases such as eg. DICOM)
3. FHIR Server for Azure - an open-source project that is also available to be on Azure cloud service. 
• Medical data classification and ICD 10 implementation 

Day two:

• What is the difference between Azure API for FHIR and FHIR service in Healthcare APIs? How can those services impact your business and what is the best choice for your infrastructure?
• The difference between FHIR service inside Azure Healthcare APIs and open-source FHIR server
• The conversion of HL7v2 into FHIR and CCDA into FHIR - creating parser and converter, for clients that want to go from HL7v2 messages to FHIR bundled healthcare data.
