Microsoft Fabric Healthcare Pilot: 10-Days Proof of Concept

What is Microsoft Fabric?  

The Microsoft Fabric platform offers a comprehensive analytics ecosystem that includes data processing, data science, real-time analytics, and business intelligence, all enhanced by AI. It provides data lakes, warehouses, data engineering, and data integration services, centralized and driven by AI. The platform operates on a Software as a Service (SaaS) model, which simplifies integration and use. 

2 Weeks Pilot Details 

The project will be conducted in two phases, incorporating healthcare data analytics throughout the process.

The first phase will involve a detailed assessment of the current on-premises and cloud data systems, with a focus on healthcare analytics. We will help select a specific use case that will evaluate the Microsoft Fabric technology and its suitability for healthcare data analytics workloads.

The second phase will concentrate on deploying a Microsoft Fabric capacity tailored for healthcare data analytics. This includes creating the necessary workload for data ingestion, implementing data analysis, or establishing a Power BI reporting platform to showcase the platform's capabilities. 

The phases will encompass:

• A work session to understand the technology and data landscape, with a focus on healthcare data analytics.
• A work session to comprehend security requirements and data governance in the context of healthcare.
• A work session to select the use case for technology demonstration within the healthcare analytics domain.
• Deployment of Microsoft Fabric in customer’s tenant, provisioning of Fabric capacities under customer’s subscription and creating Power BI Workspaces linked to Fabric capacities.
• Implementing components required for use-case evaluation such as Pipelines, Dataflows, Lakehouse or Warehouse repositories, Semantic models and Power BI Reports.

Upon the successful completion of this project, you will have a fully operational Microsoft Fabric solution integrated within your environment. This will include your data and will demonstrate a use case relevant to healthcare data analytics, providing a practical example of Microsoft Fabric's capabilities in action.
