Azure Web App Migration - 2 week implementation

By completing the Azure Web App Migration 2-week engagement, you should expect the following deliverables:

• Discovery of customer technical requirements
• Creation of migration plan document and migration communication plan for end-users
• Azure tenant/subscription/resource provisioning
• Execute Web app migration to Azure App Service
• Execute database migration to Azure SQL Database, PostgreSQL or MySQL supported version
• Public DNS configurations to ensure Web app switchover to Azure App Service
• Post-migration Web App configuration, including application and database settings, Azure Monitor and Web App backups
• Azure Front Door with Web Application Firewall and Azure Defender configuration
• Basic training to Web App developers remotely via MS Teams

Assumptions:

• The target Azure tenant will be new and it will be provisioned as a CSP-managed tenant by Fermorite
• The target tenant will not be synced with the customer on-premises network, all Azure users will be Cloud-only users
• The target Azure App will be single-region but will be scalable to 2nd Azure region,if needed
• The target Azure App will be accessible from the public Internet, no VPN will be configured
• The solution will utilize Azure App Service PaaS resources only, there will be no VNETs or App Service Environment
• The source Web App can reside in either a supported code repository running on a supported runtime stack or can reside in a supported Docker container

If the customer has technical requirements beyond the above assumptions, it is possible that there will be an additional special charge and an implementation time extension.

The final costs comprise the current Fermorite consulting services offer one-off cost and the corresponding Azure CSP resources pay-as-you-go cost.
