ITC Infotech’s Digital Farmer Engagement Platform helps farmers and organizations to improve profitability and productivity by contextualized and personalized crop advisory. It helps field assistants/agronomists to track crop progress and provide timely advice. It provides assisted access i.e. crop progress that can be tracked both by the farmer and field assistant. The solution works both in online and offline mode.
The solution has been built on top of native Azure components such as Azure App Service, Azure Functions, Azure SQL and Azure CDN, also leveraging other Microsoft cloud technologies such as Power BI Embedded that will help aid field assistants with alerts and notifications so that they complete their tasks on time. The solution also enables CPG companies to connect with farmers and procure directly from farmers, agri input and output companies to manage their crop development efforts and farmer connect.
