GitHub Copilot PoC: 4-6 week Proof of Concept

The GitHub Copilot PoC is aimed at organizations with at least one development team building Azure applications. GitHub Copilot can dramatically speed up creating and launching Azure applications. It helps teams embrace best practices regarding Azure services, and helps drive overall quality and cyber-resilience.

We work closely with the development team over a 4-6 week timeframe. All the team needs to bring is GitHub Copilot licenses and an eagerness to learn: experience with or knowledge of Generative AI is not needed.

Prepare

Enable

Activities during two 2-week sprints we support the team with

• Hands-on support and guidance
• Office hours
• Targeted surveys to gauge success and added value
• Additional training including prompt engineering courses (extended PoC) Outcomes
• Development team up to speed on and comfortable with Generative AI

We provide this PoC in a standard and an extended version. The extended version includes additional trainings that exceed the standard GitHub curriculum in depth and breadth. The total run time for the extended PoC is 6 weeks, 2 weeks more than the standard PoC.
