Create data in your on-site Swarm storage using S3, NFS, SMB and replicate to native Azure Blobs.
Many organizations need to combine the economics and security of on-premises storage with the efficiency and additional services in Microsoft Azure. In standard gateway solutions, files move to Azure in an opaque form, either unusable to Azure compute services or inaccessible from other protocols.
With Swarm Hybrid Cloud for Azure, data from S3 or NFS accessible files that are created in an on-premises Swarm scale-out storage cluster can be transparently replicated directly to native Azure Blob format into Microsoft Azure. Once the data is on Azure, you can leverage the power of Azure’s compute, data-protection, and long-term archive services. Data that remains on-premises is protected and managed by Swarm.
