Ubuntu 20.04 LTS with Nextcloud File Share Server
Nextcloud is a powerful set of client-server programs for creating and using a data warehouse. Nextcloud can be installed both on commercial hosting and on your own server. In terms of available functionality, it is similar to Google Workspace.
Nextcloud files are stored on the server and can be accessed via WebDAV if needed. User files are encrypted during transit (encryption must be enabled). Nextcloud supports client programs on Windows, OS X, and Linux for synchronization between server and client.
Nextcloud users can manage calendars (CalDAV), contacts (CardDAV), schedule tasks from within the platform.
From an administrative point of view, Nextcloud allows you to manage users and groups (using OpenID or LDAP). Content can be shared by defining intelligent read and write permissions between users and groups. In addition, Nextcloud users can share files via URL.
Nextcloud introduces new features such as monitoring capabilities, full-text search and Kerberos authentication, as well as audio/video conferencing, advanced federation, and minor UI improvements.
