Cloud Migration: 6+ Weeks Implementation

The DataArt team offers a plan for an end-to-end migration to Microsoft Azure.

Steps:

1. Identify project goals, main stakeholders, time, and budget constrains
2. Work with team leads on the client side to gather a true picture of a current state
3. Gather requirements for data security, retention, compliance, and geo-location restrictions
4. Iteratively come up with final state for the migration/modernization project
5. Identify skills and knowledge gaps in client team an plan for trainings / staffing
6. Develop transition plan aligned with uninterrupted business processes, current state and desired architecture
7. Perform security and compliance assessment of the plan and apply updates accordingly
8. Organize a team to run and deliver the project transition

Depending on the identified project goals and migration options, deliverables would vary:

II. App modernization (PaaS / SaaS)

III. Cloud Adoption

Deliverables:

The assessment will be executed by the DataArt team in accordance with the Cloud Adoption Framework best practices provided by Microsoft which entails:

1. Well-structured predictable assessment workflow aligning business, people, processes, and technologies.
2. Strong technological pillars including security, reliability, cost optimization, performance efficiency, and operational excellence for the desired state in the cloud.
