Our discovery and assessment product helps you identify and understand their existing IT infrastructure and application workloads and provides a detailed assessment for Microsoft Azure adoption

Our discovery and assessment product helps organizations identify and understand their existing IT infrastructure and application workloads and provides detailed report with cost estimates. This saves time, reduces costs, minimizes risks, improves security and ensures a smooth transition to Microsoft Azure.

Discovery and Assessment will help customers to understand their current environment and receive recommended next steps for their cloud journey with a recommended migration treatment based on categorization of workloads according to Velocity (As Is) Migration - and Modernization options for the migration.

The assessment process captures information critical to the assessment output via modern discovery tools and Customer’s Configuration Management Database (CMDB) data. Customer insights gained from these discoveries and assessments allow us to support you as a customer to better deploy, adopt, consume, and gain long-term business value from your Microsoft cloud investments and services.  Recommended time duration for the assessment is 6 up to 10 weeks, this timeframe allows us to collect enough data to start building an overview of the as - is environment. The timeline depends on the size and complexity of the environment.

Key Deliverables:

  • Assessment Report summarizes all gathered information of customer’s current on-premises environment and provides recommendations for migration treatments of all infrastructure and application workloads, considering IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service), PaaS (Platform as a Service) and SaaS (Software as a Service) options.

  • Dependency mapping Visualize all discovered “as-is” IT infrastructure assets and services. This helps customers to see their environment in one big picture.

  • SSoT (Single Source of Truth) detailed information about all servers, databases, relation between workload and servers, Azure cost estimates, Cloud Readiness, high level overview and others

  • AIF (Application information form) Application workload breakdown, which helps with migration treatment decision, and gives the potential vendor understanding on how customer’s applications work.
