Journey2Cloud: 4-Day Assessment

The itnetX Journey to the Cloud Standard is aimed at all companies that have fundamentally decided to adapt cloud services. It is only of secondary importance in this context, at what pace and with what consistency your company moves to the cloud. The fundamentals are always the same. What is needed is clarity about the drivers, the context, the internally available competencies, the cloud operations and of course the concrete cloud use cases. If there is the necessary consensus on these issues, Azure will be prepared for secure, controlled and value-adding use.

The itnetX Journey to the Cloud is a standard service package that follows a clear procedure with predefined delivery objects. These combine our many years of experience, the core elements from the Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework and the latest security and compliance recommendations.

WhyCLOUD:

• Definition of the Cloud Vision
• Basics of the cloud strategy and discussion of possible use cases
• See separate description "WHYCloud" document

AzureDISCOVER:

• Creation of blueprints of max. 3 concrete use cases, which were created in the workshop WhyCLOUD as delivery objects.

AzureCHECK

• Service Assessment, Service Heat map including Azure Readiness Evaluation and cost forecast of Azure resources for one of the use cases evaluated above.

AzureDEFINE:

• Development of the Azure Governance & Security Baseline, which then serves as the basis for the creation of an implementation plan. The basis for this is the standardized itnetX Baseline for security, role model, name concept, network connection, cost and management structures, etc.

AzureREADY:

• Realization and commissioning of the BaseLine developed within the framework of AzureDEFINE, and thus the implementation of the Azure Landing Zone.

The 4 days Assessment contains the AzureCHECK and AzureDEFINE step.
