Azure Migration: 10-Week Implementation

Langate Corp

Migration to the cloud represents a significant business change. Organizations move to the cloud to improve their business, not just reduce costs.

Migrating your workloads to the cloud is one of the first steps in your journey to modernize and adopt a Cloud-first IT strategy. Let our team of experts help you design, plan, and execute your migration journey to Azure.

What you’ll get

  • Guidance: To complete a successful Azure migration journey, you need guidance – an experienced partner who can help you navigate the decision-making process and then execute flawlessly on the migration itself.
  • Set up your environment to get started with key services like Active Directory, SQL Database, and more.
  • Migration to the cloud.
  • Making sure that it can be accessed and maintained in an effective way.

  1. Discovery:
  2. The Azure migration process starts with a discovery phase, where you work with your team and partners to confirm your business needs and determine which workloads are ready to be migrated.

  3. Design and Planning:
  4. We’ll move to the design and planning stage. This is where you decide how many VMs you need, what type of on-premises hardware configuration will be required, whether you want to keep any existing data centers active, and other considerations that can help guide your cloud strategy.

  5. Create a Site Recovery vault:
  6. The good news is that Microsoft has made it easy for you to migrate your on-premises applications and data by using Azure Site Recovery (ASR), which allows you to replicate your VMs to Azure. To get you started with ASR:

    • We’ll Create an Azure Site Recovery vault
    • Protect workloads from a source on-premises site by using a recovery plan
    • Test failover and failback scenarios
  7. Setting up Azure Servers
  8. With a plan, we’ll move forward with actual migration. Setting up servers in Azure so your applications can run there; also means migrating data from your existing systems into Azure-based systems.

When all this is completed, we’ll test everything to ensure it works as expected and then integrate it into other processes within your organization.
