DataOps: 3-Month ElasticEngineering Implementation

During this 3-month engagement, our Rackspace DataOps specialists will conduct onboarding and long range planning to identify and take co-ownership with shared responsibilities of data engineering and operational tasks. The goal is to identify your business use cases, platform gaps, technical debt and operations requirements and build automation and process that allows for efficient operationalization of your Synapse Analytics platform.

Implementation plan

• Week 1: Kick-off & Discovery
  Our team will schedule multiple meetings to collect detailed architecture and documentation of the existing environments, process and policies in place.
• Week 2: Gap Analysis
  The team performs a gap assessment of runbooks, automation and documentation required to effectively support the environment.
• Week 3-4: Transition Documentation and Backlog
  The minimum required documentation and runbooks to start the transition will be created during the first month of on-boarding.
• Month 2+: On-going Engineering and Support Services
  Monthly backlog grooming and allocation of tasks per weekly sprints focused on priority work items.

NOTE: The services can be extended indefinitely past 3 months as per customer requirements and needs.
