About Cloud Foundation

SoftServe's Cloud Foundation for Azure is designed to seamlessly onboard you to the Azure Cloud incelerated way, following Microsoft's Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF) principles. Accelerator’s automation tools are pre-designed to deploy Platform and Application landing zones in structured, scalable and repeatable way. Moreover, Cloud Foundation includes Cloud Governance enablement in audit-only mode with a pre-defined list of policies and practices, all of which are grounded in the best practices of Microsoft's Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF).

At the end of the engagement, you will have:

• Cloud Adoption strategy and plan defined and documented
• Shared services deployed with Platform Landing Zone accelerator
• Application Landing Zone accelerator deployed and adopted to further workload (-s) migration/modernization.
• Controlled and predictable cost management applied.
• Validated cloud deployment in terms of following Azure best practices and compliance regulatory standards

Agenda

Week 0

• Identify business drivers and goals
• Build Cloud Foundation roadmap

Week 1-2

• Deploy Terraform-based accelerator for shared services: Resource Organization, Management, Connectivity and Identity

Week 3-4

• Deploy Terraform-based accelerator for workloads: Kubernetes/ Data/ AI/ IaaS
• Integrate with Platform Landing Zones

Week 5-6

• Gather Cloud Governance MVP requirements
• Prepare and deploy Terraform-based accelerator for Cloud Governance

Deliverables

• Report with Cloud Foundation roadmap
• Deployed shared services with Platform Landing Zone accelerator
• Built foundation for workloads’ migration/modernization with Application Landing Zone accelerator
• Applied Cloud Governance in audit-only mode to enable cost management and security controls
