Data#3 Azure Purview: 2-Week Implementation

For organisations who have a project to deliver data governance, and needing a quick way to deploy Azure Purview. Our offering provides opportunity to get familiar with the platform before go-live with the broader organisation. We also have complimentary offerings for a proof-of-concept dand production deployments of Purview.

Goals of the pilot:

• Accelerated deployment of Azure Purview in your environment
• Serve as a governance tool for your team to configure additional data sources, classifications and glossary terms
• On-boarding of first set of business users
• Understand costs for implementation and potential ROI

Key Outcomes:

• Azure Purview provisioned with a baseline configuration in a single environment
• Connection of up to ten (10) cloud data sources and setup of initial scan schedules
• Connection of Power BI and Azure Data Factory (if deployed)
• Content tagging and custom classification rules
• Walkthrough of Azure Purview and demonstration of usage
• Recommendations, lessons learned and next steps summary

Our pilot approach is designed to provide an accelerator to get started with Azure Purview as quickly as possible. You will be able to harness the full features of Purview and provide access to your business users, in context of your own environment. The pilot is completed over 2-4 weeks, which allows time for scanning to complete and workshops to be conducted. We utilise Data^#3’s Data Journey Framework to provide a holistic set of recommendations for your data governance initiatives.
