Azure Hybrid Services: 2 day workshop
This workshop focuses on infrastructure based on Windows Server 2019, Hyper-V and Azure Hybrid Services. Management is done in Windows Admin Center and the Azure portal.
Using Azure Monitoring, Azure Automation, Log Analytics, Azure Update Management, Azure Site Recovery and several other services it is possible to monitor your infrastructure, automate response to incidents that occur, run VM backup and replication to Azure for business continuity, update your servers regardless of where they are, keep track of the health status of the servers and ensure that your data is not lost in the event of an accident. With Windows Update Management, you get an overview of the health status of your servers, no matter where they are. We look at onboarding the machines and how to create an update deployment. Azure Monitoring monitors your servers and uploads data in Log Analytics, which gives you an overview of the status of your servers, regardless of whether they run on Hyper-V, Nutanix AHV, VMware, in your own data center or in AWS, it does not matter. The data can be used to build clear dashboards, notify or respond via Azure Automation. Azure Site Recovery gives you the reassurance that, if an accident occurs and your servers become unavailable in your own data center, you will be able to continue your work on the server in Azure. Azure Site Recovery replicates VM data to Azure and with Virtual Networks in Azure configured, you can spin it up (manually or automatically) in a few moments and continue your work with minimum downtime.
