CAF Azure Foundation - 1-week Assessment

Data-Driven's Azure Foundation Assessment focuses on Azure service infrastructure and configuration review using the Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF) and aligned with the Landing Zone deployment for Azure, then provides recommendations to improve your infrastructure setup and accelerate your companies' Azure adoption.

Deliverables:

1. Business Workshop - The first audit phase will include a workshop with relevant stakeholders to understand the current application deployment in Azure, IT and development team structure, and the existing Azure infrastructure.
2. Hands-on Review and Investigation - Following the workshop, a hands-on review and investigation of the actual application Azure infrastructure and configuration are performed. This is to assess the following key cloud configuration principles: • Performance efficiency (Monitoring, Logging, Automation Opportunities) • Operational excellence (Naming Conventions, Tagging Conventions, Policies) • Security (RBAC, Data Encryption, Networking Security) • Reliability (Architecture, Backup & Retentions policies, DR Plan) • Cost optimization review (Right-sizing of computing resources, Recommendations for OPEX reduction)
3. Documentation - Detailed documentation of the current Azure Infrastructure configurations and recommendations for each category with the level of business priority and complexity to implement.
4. Final Presentation - Presentation of the finding and recommendations to the business stakeholders.
