FY23_Managed Services Linux on Azure 2 Weeks Implementation
IFI Techsolutions
Implementing Linux on Azure in your organization might look like a big transition with complexities but not with MSP.
Agenda
Phase 1- Meeting to discuss Plan of action
Demonstration to the customer on POC performed on the dev environment and discussed the outcomes, advantages, and future scope.
We will then discuss the workflow for the production environment and set deadlines for each milestone to achieve in the project.
Phase 2- Modification and Transformation
Necessary modifications to be made on the server or application level to cater to the compatibility issues if any.
Phase 3- Pre-Migration
This phase involves inventory of the servers and applications that you need to migrate, assessing those for cloud readiness & dependencies.
Grouping of resources w.r.t. dependencies and prioritizing batches based on the same and customer feedback.
Preparing the CAF based migration landing zone in Azure.
Phase 4- Migration Process
We will use the migration type as suggested by our architects in the execution plan.
Our experienced engineers will migrate the server, applications, and related resources from source to destination in the production environment using Microsoft Tools.
Phase 5- Post-Migration
Testing the migrated resources of production environment with routine workloads.
Monitor the service for a week or two and prepare a detailed report on the project execution.
Phase 5: Transition to Managed Services
Onboarding to MSP
Setting up alerts & notifications
Monitoring & managing end to end WVD Subscription
Sharing Review reports
Sharing ticket logs
