• Verify multi-user compatibility (for Azure Virtual Desktop): We test to see if the apps are compatible with a multi-user environment where all users are on the same virtual machine.
• Assess app layering compatibility: We use VMware’s app layering technology ‘App Volumes’ to simplify application lifecycle and we ensure that the application runs as expected in an app layering deployment.
• Performance profiling: We check resource consumption of the applications to get an idea of the resource needs for the virtual machine.
• Package applications: In many cases the application can be set to be automatically packaged.
