EHR on Azure Migration Services Optimum’s migration services are broken down into 6 main phases: • Initiate & Discovery – In this phase we ensure all the right parties are structures are in place to accomplish a complex project like moving your EHR to Azure. We also meet with each workstream and ensure we have the correct understanding of the environment • Design – In this phase we design the overall Azure architecture, EHR environment, Presentation Tier, Load Balancing, Networking, Data Replication, File Motion, 3rd Party App Communication, etc. • Implementation – In this phase we build and configure the design approved in the previous phase. We work with the customer’s EHR technical team to install and configure your EHR. • Test – In this phase we leverage our custom dry run methodology to ensure all aspects of the new environment that can be tested, is tested. • Deploy – In this phase we support the necessary change management and planning to activate the environment. • Close-Out – In this phase we complete cross training, documentation, and review of any parking lot items.
