D4E JDBC Proxy JAR is a lightweight Java-based companion tool for Data Mart for Excel (D4E).
It enables seamless connectivity to JDBC databases, complementing D4E’s native ODBC capabilities.

With the proxy, D4E Standard and Advanced editions can query popular JDBC databases such as MySQL, MariaDB, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, SQLite, H2, DuckDB, and more — directly from Excel.

The proxy is bundled with a set of open-source JDBC drivers and also supports adding proprietary drivers (e.g., Oracle, IBM DB2) through an external `drivers` folder.

This component is designed for IT teams who prefer JDBC-based workflows while still empowering business users with D4E’s Excel-native self-service analytics.
