Overview
Unified Contacts extends Microsoft Teams by delivering a unified search experience for the two most popular address books – Azure Active Directory as the corporate address book and Microsoft Exchange Online as the personal contact store. Additionally, Unified Contacts enables the integration of 3rd party contact databases and CRM systems by

• providing a powerful Database and REST API facilitating a simplistic and automatic ingestion of contact data
• automatically searching SharePoint Online for contact-type lists

Unified Contacts Pro is backed by an Azure App, that runs in your Azure tenant. You can install it within minutes and operations is super-easy.

Unified Contacts Pro matches the following contact properties against your search query and presents the results in a familiar, comprehensive and coherent format across different contact sources:

• First name
• Last name
• Job title
• Department
• Organization name

This SaaS subscription handles the billing aspects of the paid license for Unified Contacts Pro only. A separate deployment of the Unified Contcats Pro's back- and frontend is required. As part of this (backend-) deployment, additional Azure resources (App Service Plan, Azure KeyVault, Storage Account, SQL database) required by Unified Contacts Pro are deployed into your Azure tenant, generating Azure costs.
