IcoEdgeAgent is part of the ICONICS IoTWorX suite and is a required module as part of a complete IoTWorX deployment. The IcoEdgeAgent module provides management capabilities between the edge device and the ICONICS Suite.

IoTWorX™ combines ICONICS’ cutting-edge IoT software technology with its proven HMI/SCADA, analytics, and mobile solutions running in the cloud. ICONICS offers manufacturers and facility managers several key IoT technologies, including connectivity to assets, secure cloud communications, and built-in real-time visualization. Analytics at the edge result in minimized latency while leveraging FDD technology to significantly reduce costs and improve operational efficiency. Users can connect to virtually any automation equipment through supported industry protocols such as OPC UA, BACnet, SNMP, Modbus, and Web Services.

ICONICS’ IoT solution takes maximum advantage of Microsoft's Azure cloud services to provide global visibility, scalability, and reliability. Users can leverage standard ICONICS apps in the cloud such as GENESIS64™, Hyper Historian™, AnalytiX®, and more. Optional Microsoft Azure services such as Power BI and Machine Learning can be integrated to provide greater depth of analysis.

IoTWorX™ delivers efficient, secure connections to Microsoft Azure as well as MQTT, REST, and WebSockets for third-party cloud providers. Supported industry protocols include BACnet, SNMP, Modbus, and OPC UA.

IoTWorX™ enables local intelligence on third party IoT gateways, providing a powerful software infrastructure. Gateways integrate devices, sensors, and other equipment to publish messages to the cloud independently from the subscribers. Built-in software modules decrease latency, provide edge data processing, and empower edge analytics with onboard FDD and Workflow technologies with real-time visualization of KPI data.
