Automatic installation and orchestration of a single-node SAP HANA database

Automatic installation and orchestration of a single-node SAP HANA in-memory database, using the LNW-Soft Project Phoenix Engine.

The LNW-Soft Project Phoenix installs an SAP HANA 2.0 database, based on sources provided in a storage account. Using this solution, two virtual machines are deployed. On the main virtual machine, the HANA database is installed. The size of this VM can be configured as necessary for your use-case. A small second virtual machine hosts the LNW-Soft Project Phoenix Engine, which orchestrates the installation of the SAP HANA database, as well as takes care of the basic operational tasks to keep your HANA database running.

The SAP HANA installation sources need to be provided in a storage account, which is then provided during the configuration of this solution. Please read the Project Phoenix Engine documentation repository section on the necessary files required. The following containers need to be provided:
  • SAP HANA installation files
  • SAP Host Agent files
We have created a download helper to help you create this repository. You can find more information on our GitHub account.

Requires a valid SAP HANA license, as well as access to the SAP HANA installation sources.
