This solution creates a distributed testing environment with Apache JMeter™.
Apache JMeter™ may be used to test performance both on static and dynamic resources, Web dynamic applications.
It can be used to simulate a heavy load on a server, group of servers, network or object to test its strength or to analyze overall performance under different load types.
In the event that your JMeter client machine is unable, performance-wise, to simulate enough users to stress your server or is limited at network level, an option exists to control multiple, remote JMeter engines from a single JMeter client. By running JMeter remotely, you can replicate a test across many low-end computers and thus simulate a larger load on the server. One instance of the JMeter client can control any number of remote JMeter instances, and collect all the data from them.
- Connect to JMeter Control Client with Microsoft Remote Desktop Client.
- Build an Apache JMeter™ control client and any number of remote servers.
- Distribute CSV Data files from a control client to remote servers.
- Centralized control of remote server settings.
