SAS Event Stream
Processing (ESP) continuously
assesses streaming data, close to its origination and in the Cloud transforming
and analyzing in real-time and providing the instruction necessary to know what
actions to take, what alerts to issue, and what portions of the data need to be
retained for deeper investigation. Streaming data insights are immediately
understood and connected to the correct action.
SAS ESP elevates SAS
Solutions and our customers’ solutions to include streaming data into deep
analytical assessments, case management activity and workflow. Monitoring
patterns of interest and detecting new anomalies to be investigated, the
product becomes a powerful input engine.
It brings the immediate value of streaming analytics to a host of IoT applications,
like asset performance, computer vision, condition-based monitoring, production quality, fraud,
compliance, security, etc. Additionally,
it augments existing data management infrastructure by including IoT and other
sources of streaming data into core systems and existing operations. The solution extends the use of analytics and
collaboration across the enterprise, while optimizing existing IoT investments
(SAS, third party, and open source).
The ESP trial environment allows you to explore the capabilities of SAS ESP without the need to install, update, or maintain software or related infrastructure. It includes a number of common use case examples as pre-loaded scenarios for quick start. The ESP
trial environment allows you to execute Python commands that interact with our
ESP server in a Jupyter Lab environment as well as the
opportunity to use our graphical user interfaces (ESP Studio and ESP Streamviewer) to make the interaction with the
ESP server easier to setup in a non-programmatic way.
