A VPN Management server - Easily connect Windows computers to Windows servers in Azure

TrueStack Direct Connect, a VPN Management server, is the simplest way to get your on-premise Windows domain controller to the cloud so your I.T. and end-users can access it from anywhere.

For Initial Configuration, including how to add a route table, go to truestack.com/support.

Here's how it works:

  • Create one installer for each Windows computer and specify which Windows domain controller in Azure the computer will be routed to.
  • After installing TrueStack Direct Connect on the computers, each computer will be connected to the specified Windows server.
  • Usernames and Passwords aren't required for the VPN connection because each installer contains a unique certificate made for that computer only.
  • Administrators can access the domain connected computers from the Azure Windows server and use Active Directory and group policies to manage them.
  • End-users can access NTFS shared folders on the Windows servers from anywhere.
  • The VPN connection is always on, so as long as end-users are connected to the internet they will be able to access their shared files.
  • TrueStack Direct Connect does not route all traffic through the VPN tunnel, only Windows DNS traffic. This creates a fast, secure connection.
  • I.T. can manage the server in Azure instead of on-premise, reducing downtime and simplifying future upgrades.

  • This is an ideal solution for business and nonprofits who need a Windows domain controlled environment, but also need to be able to access their server files outside of the office. It works well for organizations who employ contractors, work-at-home employees and have multiple office locations. End-users can access their data on domain controlled computers from anywhere while I.T. can maintain security and control of those computers wherever they are.
Nonprofits who qualify through Techsoup can use their $5000 yearly Azure credits to cover the cost of Azure Windows servers. Contact TrueStack to find out more about our migration services.
