We do this by aggregating multiple data sources including; Telematics, Weather, Mapping, Imagery, Repair Parts and other Connected Car data to quickly assess the liability associated with a motor accident. The results are delivered directly into an existing claims business process through a non-disruptive integration into the claims handlers core claims system. Xtract has spent three years creating the solution, protecting the IP and developing the initial customer and partner base. Our underlying algorithms provide an immediate predictive assessment of the severity of a crash, a damage triage, and an at-fault indication to enable a claims handler, adjuster or other stakeholder to make an accurate liability decision quickly. The availability of objective evidence via Connected Car data (telematics) to determine the at-fault party (or at-fault proportion) solves the ambiguity a challenge associated with high-risk incidents.
