Modern Workplace Jumpstart: 1 Week Workshop

AppSphere‘s Modern Workplace Transformation Workshop (cost typically between 8K – 15K EUR depending on agreed scope) supports companies to identify the status quo regarding their organization, objectives and requirements as well as to define targets. Based on customers IT & business processes, our Transformation Consultants will develop a customized target IT architecture/landscape that is heavily based on modern Microsoft cloud solutions like Office 365 and Azure services, to meet demands for mobility, collaboration & communication, speed, productivity, lower IT cost etc. Deliverables of the workshop and the affiliate elaboration are documented within a presentation (20 – 50 slides depending on scope).

Agenda of the week:

• Joint definition of the goal
• Recording the status quo: clear understanding of user roles and use cases, clear understanding of current IT, collection of individual requirements
• Identification of relevant fields of action
• Design principles guiding the design of the Modern Workplace
• Visualisation of the target architecture and service design
• Elaboration of a detailed roadmap with a time horizon of ~2-4 years
• Identifying quick wins that will leverage value in a very short timeframe

Value add for customers is leveraged by creating a clear understanding, how the IT must look like in 2-3 years (IT target landscape) to accommodate the demands of business units and digital transformation streams. Customers get to know how to transform IT to the elaborated IT target landscape – especially regarding the integration of cloud services. The customer is now able to justify the launch of a new program and several projects to achieve the vision of a Modern Workplace.
