Avanade Cloud Impact is embedded into our Managed Service and cloud optimization engagements to make them both cheaper, faster, and more valuable for our customers.
What is different about our service:
Most cloud tools on the market tend to focus on one area such as cost. The recommendations are automated and with no business context. Avanade Cloud Impact is broader and deeper than FinOps. It helps companies across 4 areas: identifying and managing business risk, technical debt, cost and sustainability opportunities. We do this by integrating to industry and business data sources creating a richer set of insights that are tailored for the customer context. For example, we incorporate CMDB data and other business context gleaned from our Services relationship with a given company to react differently to business-critical services or production vs non-production environments.

• A free introductory 2-hour workshop focused on cloud cost optimization in which we explain how we’re saving clients up to 50% of their cloud spend while providing a roadmap to a stronger, leaner digital core.
• Avanade Cloud Impact is a standard feature of our Azure Managed Service. It is also available as a 6-week workshop and an optional add-in for any delivery engagement.
Expected outcomes:
• In the introductory workshop, the customer will receive recommendations on the most effective ways to reduce cloud spend based on our experience across hundreds of clients. They will also have a clear understanding of how Cloud Impact can help them accelerate value from their cloud implementation and a proposed route forward.
• For the 6-week workshop we will deliver up to 50% identified cost and sustainability savings and a mitigation plan for Business Risk and Technical debt.
