Planning DW Azure Migration: 2-Week Implementation

Our core competence is to deliver modern Azure cloud-based Data Platforms and Data Warehousing solutions. A successful Azure Cloud migration plan starts with a clear understanding of the Customer's current solution. Through the following 3 steps we will guide the Customer through the planning process of migrating an on-premises SQL Server Data Warehouse solution to Azure.

Activities of the planning phase:

• Step 1: The existing solution is reviewed over a Teams workshop.
• Step 2: The overall transition planning is done based on the understandings received during the first phase.
  Transition planning includes:
  Creating the target Azure solution architecture.
  Transition project planning and creating a detailed task list.
  Estimating costs and schedule.
• Step 3: The overall plan is presented to the Customer over a Teams meeting. Based on the feedback, the project plan is finalized in a iterative manner. After finalization of the project plan, the pre-study and planning project is closed.
