  • Day 5 - Exploratory testing. Detailed report and playback session.

What can a modernised application do for you? Many organisations use existing and/or legacy applications that are monolithic in nature and difficult to scale. How do you modernise an existing application to handle massive growth, global adoption and/or complex data governance issues? ‘Lift and shift’ is often the first step in migrating to the cloud, but to take true advantage of the hyperscale cloud, a process of application modernisation is required to:

  • Replace reliance on data centres, radically reducing wasted time and effort.
  • Enable horizontal and vertical scaling, one-click multi-region deployment and a quantum leap in governance, security and reliability.
  • Enable evergreen support, protecting against application rot and eventual legacy.
  • Provide new/increased business value through true application modernisation, not just tweaking the existing infrastructure.
  • Allow rapid adoption of cloud-native/serverless services such as functions, logic apps, containers, API management, and a huge range of data storage and processing services.
