MS Azure Tech for AWS Architects -4 day Workshop

This course teaches Solutions Architects who have previously designed for Amazon Web Services how to translate business requirements into secure, scalable, and reliable solutions for Azure. Lessons include virtualization, automation, networking, storage, identity, security, data platform, and application infrastructure.

DAY 01 Topics: Introduction to Azure, Azure global infrastructure, Implement Azure Active Directory and Implement and manage hybrid identities

On the first day students will be able to determine the type of account and subscription best suited to your solution, Create resource groups and templates to standardize and manage solutions and Implement an architecture that provides the availability and reliability required by your solution

Day 02 Topics: Implement virtual networking, Implement VMs for Windows and Linux, Implement load balancing and network security and Implement container-based applications

On the second day students will learn to design and implement virtual networks with security in mind to create high availability solutions and Deploy and configure scale sets and Implement the components of load balancing

Day 03 Topics: Implement an application infrastructure, Implement storage accounts, Implement NoSQL databases and Implement Azure SQL databases

On the third day student will know how to Select an App Service plan then configure it suitable for your solution, Incorporate Logic Apps and Azure Functions into your solution and Configure a NoSQL database solution by using Azure Cosmos DB

Day 04 Topics: Implement cloud infrastructure monitoring, Implement and manage Azure governance solutions, Manage security for applications and Migration, backup, and disaster recovery management

On the last day students will be taught how to set up security monitoring for their solution and Monitor costs by analyzing logs, Configure RBAC roles for governance access and Configure an Azure Policy to enforce compliance with governance requirements
