This 1-day, instructor-led workshop is intended for data professionals who want to want to learn more about virtual networks in Azure and Azure services.

In this workshop, you will configure a virtual network with Subnets in Azure, secure virtual networks with firewall rules and route tables, and set up access to the virtual network with a "jump box" and a site-to-site VPN connection.

Module 2: Hands-on Lab - Building a Resilient IaaS Architecture

  • Create a virtual network and provision subnets
  • Create route tables with required routes
  • Create n-tier application and validate functionality
  • Build the management station
  • Provision and configure partner firewall solution
  • Configure the firewall to control traffic flow
  • Configure site-to-site connectivity
  • Validate connectivity from ‘on-premises’ to Azure
