By redeploying and extending VMware workloads on Microsoft Azure, your organization is able to retain personnel skills and VMware investments, allowing you to avoid hiring additional personnel for their cloud skills or re-skilling current personnel.

Kyndryl's assessment methodology will help you discover and plan a roadmap to migrate up to 300 servers from your current environment to a Azure VMware solution. Additional workloads can be included with time and cost adjustments. If you don't already have a Microsoft cloud environment, Kyndryl will create and provide one for the assessment.

The timeline for discovery and assessment is 3 to 6 weeks depending on your environment's size and complexity.

• Plan the discovery and assessment approach (1 workshop)
• Gather information about infrastructure, applications, and databases (1 to 3 weeks)
• Perform a TCO study to compare current with future state costs (1 week)
• Review findings together and co-creation of next steps (1 workshop)
• Optional: Deep dives on specific applications that may require extra effort to migrate (1 workshop)
