By using this Kickstart, you can evaluate VMware Horizon Cloud on Azure faster and ensure that end-users have a great experience the first time they use their new virtual desktop or published application(s).
Week 0. VMware Horizon Cloud on Azure Online workshop for customer preparation activities. Scoping and SOW Agreed Day 1 Azure environment review and preparations. Network planning and On-Premises connectivity with VPN. AD preparations and GPO review. Applications, Images and User Environment (profiles) Backend connectivity. Endpoint strategy Day 2. Preparation of the Azure environment according to SOW. Azure readiness check to validate Horizon Cloud installation prerequisites Day 3.&4. Testing of the environment and optimisation Day 5. Evaluation against agreed CSF's.
BASIC • Setup VMware Horizon Cloud in Azure, including enabling infrastructure • Setup of 2 Images (Server 2016 , Server 2019, Windows 10 or Windows 10 Multi-Session) • Deploy a RDSH Pool showcasing Remote application functionality • Deploy a VDI pool showcasing virtual desktop functionality • Tuning and implementation best practices • Evaluation of the solution at the end of the period
ADVANCED (all of basic including) • Integration with Workspace ONE access (Existing Hosted/SaaS or New SaaS tenant) • Setup of VMware Dynamic Environment Manager or FSLogix profile container for Horizon Cloud on Azure
The Kickstart contains:
• Horizon Cloud core subscription (trial subscription) • 5 days of Professional Services for Basic & 8 days of Professional Services for Advanced • Remote / Online activities (International onsite activities at additional costs) • Optional: Microsoft Azure subscription
