The Azure Virtual Desktop, formally Windows Virtual Desktop, Proof of Concept is designed to get an organization up and running with WVD in Azure using the new, Windows 10 multi-session OS.
Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), formally Windows Virtual Desktop (WVD), provides the ability to scale remote desktop access virtually limitlessly, on demand, without the capital expense required with traditional VDI implementations. Providing a secure, scalable, globally accessible remote desktop environment. The Azure Virtual Desktop Proof of Concept is designed to get an organization up and running with AVD in Azure using the new, Windows 10 multi-session OS. The engagement starts by providing an assessment of AVD readiness and documents any needed prerequisites. A custom, Windows 10 multi-user image with up to three standard applications is used to deploy the AVD environment. Users are granted access to remote desktops or remote applications bases on group membership. FSLogix is implanted to manage user profiles and Microsoft Office settings. ,
