Generative AI Roadmap: 4-week Assessment

This Generative AI Roadmap is a four-week Assessment to define objectives and develop a strategic plan for deploying Microsoft Azure-based Open AI-LLM applications across business functions.

Struggling to identify and prioritize the right opportunities for generative AI and large language models? This four-week assessment is aimed at defining a focused objective for Microsoft Azure-based Generative AI and LLM applications and selecting the most valuable opportunities to pilot. This assessment efficiently develops a practical and actionable viewpoint on the alignment of OpenAI/Azure AI-ML capabilities across selected business functions and formulates a strategic plan for deploying these capabilities at scale.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) can be widely thought of as the ability of a system or algorithm to perform tasks without being explicitly programmed to do so. There are several conceptual elements or “building blocks” of AI that when properly assembled, form meaningful applications, such as the combination of natural language processing and generative AI to formulate large language models (LLMs) such as ChatGPT. These LLMs have captured global attention faster than any other application in history and are poised to transform our businesses and interactions.

Activities to be completed:

  1. Identify: Explore how AI is being used today inside and outside your industry and develop real use cases that leverage AI’s capabilities and advance your focused AI objectives.

  2. Decompose: Develop a perspective on use case complexity and feasibility by identifying commonalities, necessary technical capabilities and their respective maturity.

  3. Prioritize and Initialize: Calculate business value and anticipated ROI. Select the go-first use case and outline potential future phases.
