Vigilant.IT Modern Authentication Service

The service follows a five stage process which has been designed to establish an automated process in Microsoft’s Azure Active Directory (AAD)

• Authenticates user’s identity against their registered username, password and a smart phone installed with the Microsoft Authenticator application
• Authorises their computing access to your organisation based on agreed conditions configured in AAD (Conditional Access policy) and using the Open Authorisation 2.0 protocol
• Disables any legacy application authentication method
• Allows access only from an agreed set of countries

Agenda

• Systems Check: A review of your existing environment to determine upgrades required. Applications in use which need to be excluded or upgraded
• Systems Upgrade: Implement upgrades identified in the Systems Check and arrange for purchase of Microsoft licenses if required
• Confirm end-state and configure to test-ready state: Confirm all users groups to be configured, levels of conditional access required and initial testing
• Pilot Test: Conduct pilot test, any lessons learned and changes required to the process rolled into documentation and planning for the full rollout
• Full Rollout: Rollout of Modern Authentication across pre-determined users and according to pre-agreed rollout schedule.

During the rollout your users will have access to our Service Desk for standard queries and guidance relating to the rollout

Fee*: All fees are quoted in Australian dollars and excluding GST Systems Upgrade will be quoted at Time and Materials and is not included in this offer. We can arrange for purchase of required licences or equipment as part of the Systems Upgrade cost.
