Leave high costs, poor user experience and long support times behind you. The virtual desktop infrastructure solution with a new multisession function enables the secure, high-performance, and fast provision of Windows 10 desktops anywhere and on any device.
Windows Virtual Desktop (WVD) has been generally available since October 2019. It is an Azure service that, along with the appropriate licenses, services, and resources, works with Microsoft 365 Apps for Enterprise to deliver a fully virtualized Windows 10 or Windows 7 single user experience ("Desktop"). WVD includes central administration and monitoring. System administrators can quickly provision and manage desktops, apps, and Windows servers in the Azure cloud. In addition to the technological advantage, WVD is also a particularly cost-effective solution for virtual desktops in the cloud and became native to Azure with the development of Desktop-as-a-Service (DaaS) technology.
