Icecast Streaming Server is software for audio/video broadcasting over the Internet (webcast). Most often, a server for broadcasting or hosting relaying media content is created on its basis. The content transfer is carried out over HTTP.

Digital streams are supported in the following formats: MP3; NSV; Opus; Theora; Ogg Vorbis; AAC and AAC Plus.
