Community Training Migration provides a structured approach to migrating your organization to the current (Generally Available) version of Community Training. The Community Training Migration includes evaluation and documentation of configuration changes, technical installation and activation in alignment with configuration evaluation & preparation, and content & user migration.
This work will be led by one of Wipfli's professionals, who are well versed in Community Training and who bring decades of instructional systems design and training/skilling platform experience. Wipfli is a Microsoft Tech for Social Impact partner and has been awarded as Microsoft Partner of the Year for Nonprofit Industry (2021) and Microsoft Partner of the Year Award Finalist for Inclusion Changemaker (2023).
Community Training provides a platform that enable organizations to deliver high-impact digital skilling and other training through both mobile and offline capabilities over large, geographically disparate regions and in numerous languages.
Community Training Migration will provide your organization with:
- Preparation for Migration Explore your organization's use of Community Training in the preview environment and document configuration changes to enhance the impact of Community Training use post-migration to the current (Generally Available/GA) version
- Implement and Configure Community Training Instance Perform the technical installation in alignment with configuration decisions made during the prep for migration; activate the Community Training subscription, configuring learner authentication, configuring learner profile fields, branding your Community Training instance, and configuring other Community Training options
- Support Content & User Migration Interface with Microsoft's Community Training engineering team during the migration of Community Training content, user records, and historical training records as necessary to complete the migration.
Community Training Guided Implementation provides your organization with these deliverables
- GA version of Community Training is operational
- Courseware content, user records, and historical training data are available in the new version
- Updated Community Training configuration as mutually agreed upon
Community Training Implementation Advisory has these assumptions:
- Your organization has access to an active Azure subscription and administrative rights
- Access with Admin rights to your organization's preview Community Training instance
- Community Training platform licensing and Microsoft Azure consumption costs are the responsibility of your organization
- Duration of migration is 2-4 weeks
- Data migration services are to be provided by Microsoft
