Strategy Building: Defining Phase

• Interacting with stakeholders.
• Identifying business goal.
• Building cloud strategy using which applications moved from on-premises to Public cloud Azure.
• Interacting with applications stakeholders and getting the detail of cloud compatible applications, data security, retention, compliance, and geo-location restrictions and Disaster recovery requirements.

Identifying the Workloads: Measure Phase

• IT Portfolio diagnostic to identifying Applications/Workloads that are useful and need to migrated to Azure Platform.
• Nucleus performed applications assessment and provide overall TCO of migrating to Azure platform. Allocated Budget will be compared with identified TCO and shared with relevant stakeholders such as CIO, Applications owners.

Workload Analysis : Analysis Phase

• Performing Workload analysis using Nucleus Portfolio rationalization framework & brainstorming approach
• Identify skills and knowledge gaps in client team and plan for trainings / staffing
• Categorizing the relevant workloads and their migration plan using impact control matrix

Implementation phase:

• Depending on the project goals and migration options, opted strategies are as follows:

• Applications (Re-platforming) (PAAS/SAAS)
• Cloud Native approach/Microservices (Refactoring)
