Azure Cloud Governance Model:4-day Workshop Series

A governance model is used to translate policies into practices, procedures and responsibilities. Enfo’s Azure Governance Model is a blueprint on how Azure is to be used and managed within an organization. The goal of the governance model is to give organization a clear and concise framework to help manage and implement Azure resources.

The contents of the governance model include all of the following and more:

• Account structure
• Subscriptions
• Resource groups
• Roles and responsibilities
• Naming convention
• Backup policies
• Change Management
• Networking policies
• Identity and Access Management
• Security and data protection
• Monitoring

Enfo’s model of creating the governance model is through four workshops with the customer with a length of one (1) to four (4) hours. For the workshops Enfo will bring it’s Governance Model template to use as a frame for the customer version of the model.

The agenda for the workshops are as follows: Day 1: Kickoff

• Goal alignment
• Current environment walk through
• Future plans

Day 2: Workshop 1 – Administrative tools and processes

• Customers’ organizational structure (inc. 3rd parties)
• Azure Structure
• Implementing Azure Resources
• Identity and Access Management

Day 3: Workshop 2 – Technical processes and security tools

• Continuity and Security
• Networking
• Monitoring & Log Management
• Enforcing the governance

Day 4: Conclusion and Governance Model hand-over to the customer

The workshop series takes up to two weeks in calendar time. The outcomes will be the property of the customer.
