This solution is used to migrate documents from on-premises, private datacentres, SaaS applications or other cloud providers to Microsoft Azure. The solution provides an easy to use facility to select documents in a source location, enrich those documents with additional metadata / labels and then to move them to Azure. The service allows organisations to target documents at Azure storage accounts, for example File, BLOB or even virtual servers and M365 applications.
The solution provides selective migration, with content being migrated to the most appropriate storage based upon rules. It can also be left in place to enhance the user experience of finding and consuming migrated data, with a modern, responsive and accessible user interface.
The service includes the commissioning of one of more servers in Azure, or the use of an Azure Kubernetes cluster, and the installation of the application software into that environment. An Azure Storage Account will also be created if this does not exist, and a connection to those setup within the application software.
The platform will be secured for internal access (be prepared to provide a certificate for this process).
One server will be commissioned for each ~10TB of structured data in the source system or 25TB of documents. Our Cloud Legacy Decommissioning Assessment will help determine the exact volume of data.
Pricing starts at £66,000 for a single server node and the Legacy Decommissioning App. Each additional server node is £33,000. These prices include support. Implementation services start at £15,000 and depend upon your ETL requirements.
