The Logicalis Cloud Readiness Assessment provides a rapid analysis of existing IT assets and non-Azure workloads with full cost and effort involve with moving them to cloud

Your cloud journey is underway but as your business grows, are you confident your current environment is optimised for security and support, at greater scale?

Logicalis believes that technology must be aligned to customer’s business objectives both today and into the future to be successful. The solution needs to be flexible to adapt to changes in environment, competitive and growth requirements. This flexibility means that your technology should not be a fixed price to enable scaling up and down costs as required.

In today’s modern IT landscape security, compliance and governance represent many organisation’s toughest challenges when doing business. The Logicalis Cloud Security Assessment will provide recommendations to bring Azure environments in line with Logicalis’ Production Ready Cloud Platform (PRCP) and Microsoft’s Well Architected Framework, that provides the guard rails to deploy workloads into Azure rapidly and with full confidence the framework will ensures the right outcome. Logicalis’ PRCP is designed to ensure the foundations are set correctly in preparation for a public cloud adoption

We will appoint a Lead Consultant to:

  • Work with your team your team to assess your existing environment
  • Work with your team to understand your cloud journey and business objectives
  • Complete a comprehensive report

    • This project will be delivered in 4 phases: :

  • Commencement: Kicking off the project and using customer provided environment data and leveraging our unique combination of tools and analysis reporting, Logicalis will commence a comprehensive discovery and assessment of your environment.
  • Information Gathering: This assessment focuses on estimating cloud operating costs including transformation costs associated with migrating compatible workloads into Azure solutions (such as Azure IaaS or Azure VMware Solution) with a lift and shift approach. Logicalis recommends that prior to any actual migrations being done further health checks and assessments should be performed on core applications to identify any potential opportunities to re-architect to take full advantage of the cloud architecture.
  • Business Alignment: Logicalis will prepare a finalised report to with a focus on understanding compatibility, workload migration groups and a high-level plan for delivering successfully. We will include a high-level plan with timelines, estimated run costs and migration costs for transition, and present our Azure Cloud Team Managed Services offering as part of this phase for your consideration.
