Our AKS Accelerator is built to kick start your Platform teams’ journey into AKS, which in turn allows you to enable deployment of containers and Kubernetes workloads, using Infrastructure as Code, accelerating the application development process and cloud native adoption to meet business and end-user needs, providing maximum value and longer term ROI.

Upon completion of the AKS Accelerator you will have the foundations built for your Azure Kubernetes Cluster (AKS).

Program Schedule: Week 1: Discovery & Setup

  • Validate pre-requisites for AKS deployment in target environment and discuss the dependencies

  • Dependencies resolved and access setup

Week 2: Design & Build

  • Design the AKS cluster and components breakdown
  • Build the infrastructure as code to provision the cluster and components

Week 3: Deployment

  • Installing and configuring the AKS cluster components on the client environment
  • Configure authentication & RBAC
  • Configure storage and network and pod security policies
  • Configure and integrate with Azure Key Vault
  • Install and integrate with Grafana & Prometheus

Week 4: Value Showcase

  • Deploying a sample pre-containerised application
  • Demonstrate auto scaling and self-healing capabilities
  • Demonstrate the standard dashboards used for monitoring
