Azure Cloud Migration with Pegasus One
Pegasus One provides end-to end Azure Cloud Migration services of entire workloads, from on-premises/other platforms to the Azure environment...
Pegasus One Migration Services offers a seamless journey to the cloud. We eliminate the headache of managing applications and databases on-premise, providing solutions for high operating costs, inflexible infrastructure updates, and security. To meet your unique business requirements, we structure your cloud migration using the of the "4Rs":
Our end-to-end migration plan to Azure Public Cloud includes the following phases:
Strategy We interact with stakeholders and identify your business goals. We build a strategy for moving applications from on-premises or other platforms to the Azure Public Cloud. We gather details on cloud-compatible applications, data security, retention, compliance, geo-location restrictions, and disaster recovery requirements from application stakeholders.
Measurement We conduct IT portfolio diagnostic to identify applications/workloads that need to be migrated to Azure Platform, assessing applications and providing overall TCO of migrating to Azure platform. We compare allocated budget with identified TCO and share with relevant stakeholders (CIO, application owners, etc.).
Analysis We perform workload analysis, identify skills and knowledge gaps in the client team, and plan for training/staffing. We categorize relevant workloads and their migration plan using an impact control matrix.
Implementation We choose the appropriate strategy based upon project goals and migration options: Lift-and-Shift (re-hosting), Applications re-platforming (PaaS/SaaS), and Cloud Native approach/Microservices (refactoring).
At Pegasus One, we follow best practices for the Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework, which includes:
A well-structured, predictable assessment workflow that aligns business, people, processes, and technologies. We also follow well-architected cloud framework best practices for security, reliability, cost optimization, performance efficiency, and operational excellence.
