Azure Site Recovery: 2-week assessment

As an organization, you must employ a Business Continunity and Disaster Recovery (BCDR) strategy that ensures your data is secure and your apps and workloads stay online during planned and unplanned outages.

Day 1: 1hr intake meeting in which the scope of the assignment and the requirements are explained

Day 2: Deployment of the Azure Site Recovery assessment tool on the “on premise” server infrastructure (Hyper-V or VMware) without any impact on your production environment. Access to 1 virtual Windows machine is required to set-up the tool.

Day 3 - 12: 10 days of data collection via the installed tool

Day 13: Consolidation of the collected data in a report document

Day 14: 2 hr remote call to present and elaborate the results of the report -- Compatibility assessment -- Network bandwidth requirement versus RPO assessment -- Azure infrastructure requirements -- Infrastructure requirements on site -- Estimated cost of disaster recovery for Azure
